Enphase Energy reports that David in Taunton, England paired two Enphase IQ Battery 5P units with the Octopus Energy Intelligent Octopus Flux tariff in his home.
According to Enphase Energy, Enphase PowerMatch was activated in January for the same home, using the same solar panels and tariff. The company shares the results directly from David's system.

ENPH ($39.58) is trading notably below all key moving averages: SMA-20 at $44.59, SMA-50 at $51.05, and SMA-200 at $39.99, signaling continued bearish momentum in the short, medium, and long term. The Ichimoku Kijun sits well above the current price at $47.90, indicating immediate resistance at that level. Near-term support is found around the SMA-200 ($39.99), with key support at the W1 SMA-50 ($39.61). Immediate resistance is marked by the Kijun ($47.90), with key resistance clustered at SMA-20 ($44.59).
Momentum on D1 remains bearish. MACD shows a pronounced downtrend and ADX (14.06) signals weak trend strength. RSI (37.30), Stoch RSI (15.13), and CCI (–135.61) all indicate oversold conditions, which suggests selling pressure is stretched but not yet reversing. BBP is deep in negative territory (–2.39), confirming that sellers are in clear control of intraday action. Over the past week, ENPH has retreated from $41.57, slipping 4.79%. The price is sitting at the bottom of its weekly range (near support). Weekly volatility stands at 10.56%. The tone is of persistent decline from the weekly high, aligning with the prevailing bearish momentum signals.
Looking to the next week, the expected trading corridor is $36.00 to $41.00, closely tied to the current price and anchored safely above the 52-week low ($25.80) but far below the 52-week high ($73.56). The probability of a rebound is very low (less than 20%), making a further price slide much more likely. Baseline scenario: the price fluctuates sideways between $36.00 and $41.00, with buyers probing for a floor. Bullish scenario: a break above $41.00 could trigger a move toward $44.00, but such a jump appears unlikely based on current momentum. Bearish scenario: a fall below $36.00 may open the door for retests of the yearly lows, given prevailing pressure and weak trend signals on both D1 and W1.
Previously it was reported that Enphase Energy continued to face persistent bearish momentum, with weak technical signals pointing to elevated downside risk. In light of recent developments, investors should monitor for signs of either a sustained reversal or intensified selling pressure as the next trend emerges.
