Nano Nuclear Energy to acquire facility

Nano Nuclear Energy has signed a definitive agreement to acquire strategic U.S. nuclear fuel processing assets licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. With this move, Nano Nuclear Energy will become the owner of one of only ten NRC licensed fuel cycle facilities in the U.S.

The acquisition is a key step in the company’s strategy to advance vertical integration within the nuclear fuel supply chain. The latest initiative underlines Nano Nuclear Energy’s commitment to securing critical infrastructure and strengthening its position in the U.S. nuclear sector.

Earlier this year, Nano Nuclear Energy teamed up with the University of Illinois to build a full-scale KRONOS Micro Modular Reactor prototype. The company also advanced its KRONOS MMR Energy System, moving its primary helium circulator to detailed design after a period of muted trading. These efforts signal ongoing development of its nuclear technology portfolio.
