Highlights

  • FLOW/USD sustains short-term bullish momentum, closing the session up 8.42% and finishing near intraday highs.
  • Despite immediate upside, overbought momentum signals and divergence suggest near-term risk of exhaustion remains elevated.
  • Price is projected to consolidate between $0.025 and $0.0266, with an upside breakout favored and support at $0.0248 critical for direction.

Overbought risk rises as strong momentum meets technical caps

On the technical front, FLOW/USD is supported by the MA-20 and MA-50 on the hourly chart, with price remaining capped below the MA-200 at $0.0393. Immediate support is provided by the Ichimoku Kijun at $0.0248. Indicator readings are mixed: while MACD is Neutral and ADX flashes a Buy signal, RSI stands elevated at 76.5, and both Stoch RSI and CCI continue to highlight overbought conditions. Bull/Bear Power signals intraday buyer control, while the Awesome Oscillator also supports the ongoing upward move, though the clash between strong momentum and stretched oscillators flags the risk of near-term exhaustion.

Consolidation expected as upside probability outweighs downside risk

Over the next two to three sessions, FLOW/USD is expected to consolidate within a $0.025 to $0.0266 range, reflecting typical volatility. While the probability of an upward move is very high, the risk of a near-term decline remains low. A bullish scenario would see price breaking above $0.0266 and establishing new resistance levels, while a close below $0.0248 could open the door to deeper short-term pullbacks.

Viktoras Karapetjanc, analyst at Traders Union, sees FLOW displaying robust momentum as it stays above critical short- and medium-term averages. He notes that despite mixed technical readings, sentiment remains constructive and the probability of an upward move is high. The absence of any new fundamental drivers does not alter the ongoing positive price action. In his view, consolidation is likely but the outlook is clearly tilted to the upside. "Momentum is with the bulls for now, and I am looking for a breakout above $0.0266 in the coming sessions."

Earlier, analysts noted that Flow was experiencing sustained bearish pressure amid heightened legal and reputational risks. The current technical rebound and shift in momentum highlight a potential change in sentiment, making sustained closes above $0.0266 a critical signal for further upside.
