NEAR price targets $6 as institutional demand and network activity strengthen
NEAR enters the new week with ETF inflows and record network activity reinforcing the bullish case. The next test is whether buyers can keep $4.85 as support and reopen the path toward $6.
Institutional demand for NEAR remains positive. The Bitwise NEAR ETF (NRR) has recorded net inflows of around $3.98M on October 12. Cumulative inflows in the ETF since launch have reached around $75.4M.
Ecosystem activity is on the rise as well. NEAR Intents swapped over $4.76 billion in volume throughout the month of September, which is the highest ever recorded and is about 72.9% more than in August.
Regarding the wider investment argument, the importance is not limited to the volume figure. NEAR Intents has increasingly become a key product of the network when it comes to cross-chain execution.

A hold above $4.85 could reopen the path toward $6
NEAR managed to stay above the key $4.85 level and went on to fully play out the previous bullish scenario. The price reached the $5.59 target before testing the psychological $6 mark.
The role of $4.85 has now changed. After acting as resistance before the breakout, the level has become the main support underpinning the current move.
As long as buyers defend $4.85 over the coming days, another attempt at the local high near $6 remains the base-case scenario.
Losing that level would alter the short-term structure. A deeper correction would then become more likely, putting the $4.50–4.30 support zone back into focus.
ETF demand offers support but market risk remains elevated
NEAR starts the week with an unusual combination of constructive signals: fresh capital continues to flow into its ETF, while activity through NEAR Intents is running near record levels.
The broader crypto market remains unstable, however, so even a strong fundamental backdrop cannot rule out sharp pullbacks. Against that environment, holding $4.85 is now the most important near-term test for buyers.
