Cannabis distributor Flora Growth is becoming a 0G crypto treasury
Licensed medical cannabis distributor Flora Growth raises $401 million and undergoes rebranding to expand into blockchain and artificial intelligence.
The NASDAQ-listed company Flora Growth announced a major transformation, combining a $401 million financing deal with a complete corporate rebrand. Flora Growth intends to change its name to ZeroStack while retaining its Nasdaq ticker FLGC.
This move is driven by a new treasury management strategy tied to 0G, the native token of the Zero Gravity blockchain—a Layer 1 network designed for decentralized AI applications and compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
Earlier this year, the 0G Foundation launched an $88.88 million fund to accelerate the development of decentralized finance applications powered by artificial intelligence.
Crypto treasury ahead of listing
According to the company, 0G Labs recently trained a 107-billion parameter AI model using distributed clusters connected via low-bandwidth internet, highlighting the blockchain’s modular architecture that enables AI solutions to run directly on-chain.
The token generation event (TGE) for 0G is scheduled for September 22, 2025, with major centralized exchanges such as Kraken and Gemini already confirming listing.
The rebrand of Flora Growth into ZeroStack strengthens interest in the token, while positioning the company at the intersection of blockchain, AI, and next-generation finance.
The $401 million PIPE deal attracted participants including DeFi Development Corp., Hexstone Capital, Carlsberg SE Asia PTE Ltd., and other investors. The financing consists of $35 million in cash and $366 million in cryptocurrency, mostly denominated in 0G at $3 per token. The transaction is set to close on September 26, 2025, with proceeds to be used to expand the company’s portfolio.
