Investor inflows and renewed confidence drive top-performer status

Pi Network emerged as a top performer among major cryptocurrencies on October 27, 2025, following significant investor interest and renewed confidence amid market-wide bullish sentiment. Increased activity contributed to rising attention for PI, supported further by its inclusion in multiple positive top gainers lists. The overall atmosphere for major cryptocurrencies helped reinforce optimistic sentiment for PI alongside other notable assets.

Bullish momentum contested as indicators diverge at resistance

The current price of PI at $0.2524 is above the MA-20 ($0.211) but remains below the MA-50 ($0.2693) and well beneath the MA-200 ($0.4782). This positioning points to short-term bullish momentum, yet medium- and long-term trends still indicate overhead resistance, with dynamic support near the Ichimoku kijun level at $0.2182 and resistance found near the MA-50 at $0.2693. Momentum indicators paint a mixed picture. The daily ADX shows strong bullish momentum, but the MACD remains in sell territory. Oscillators present divergence: the RSI D1 is below 50 and signals sell, while the Stoch RSI reads overbought and the CCI leans bullish. The BBP is neutral, suggesting neither buyers nor sellers strongly dominate intraday action. The daily change is a strong upward move of 21.88%, with today’s open ($0.2228) slightly above the previous close ($0.2071), indicating a minor gap. The price is currently near today’s high of $0.255, reflecting high volatility and persistent strength toward the top of the intraday range. Intraday performance thus supports the positive short-term momentum, although underlying indicator divergence introduces caution for sustainability.

Limited upside as bearish consolidation remains baseline scenario

For the next five trading days, the forecasted price range is expected between $0.1656 and $0.2363. The probability of further price increases is very low (less than 20%), making continued declines the more likely scenario. The baseline scenario anticipates the price consolidating and moving sideways within this corridor. A bullish scenario would require a decisive breakout above the $0.2693 level. A bearish scenario would be triggered by a drop below the key support at $0.2182, opening the way for lower targets in line with the weekly forecast.

Anton Kharitonov, expert at Traders Union, notes that while Pi Network (PI) showcased a sharp intraday rally of 21.88% and strong investor attention, the technical backdrop remains fragile, with the price still capped below the MA-50 at $0.2693 and the MA-200 at $0.4782. He emphasizes that indicator divergence and lackluster momentum in oscillators point to limited upside, and he sees the probability of further price increases as very low in the coming days. Kharitonov remains cautious, expecting sideways action as the base case unless $0.2693 is reclaimed decisively. "Given current resistance and the weak outlook, I am defensive — as long as PI stays below $0.2693, I don’t trust the upside."

Previously it was noted that Pi Network experienced renewed development as new DeFi features, including a DEX and AMM pools, were launched on the testnet to support developer innovation. Despite this, the asset continued to face steep market challenges, with an $18 billion decline in market value over the past six months sparking heightened investor caution.
