Patrick Brown has announced a proposed increase of 1.5% on Brampton's portion of the property tax bill.

He emphasized that Brampton continues to maintain one of the lowest property tax rates in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The budget also includes record reserves of $163 million to support the city’s long-term financial sustainability.
