Bitcoin posts 36 percent YTD decline, Layah Heilpern notes
Bitcoin drops 36 percent, oil surges 45 percent

Layah Heilpern, owner and host of The Layah Heilpern Show, references market conditions, noting that Bitcoin is down 36% year-to-date while oil prices have risen 45%.

She highlights that consumer price inflation recently reached a three-year high and the U.S. Federal Reserve has not cut rates this year. Heilpern also states she called the bear market trend last year.

Heilpern previously commented on the $2.7 billion in inflows seen by Bitcoin ETFs over three weeks, noting nine straight days of inflows in a recent update here. She has also described a shift in crypto sentiment, contrasting a past bitcoin buying surge with increased talk of selling by 2026 in another commentary. These observations follow her ongoing coverage of major asset trends.
