European crypto regulation under review in Brussels, Gregory Raymond notes
Brussels opens MiCA framework review

Gregory Raymond, crypto journalist and commentator at Les Cryptos, reports that the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation has only been in effect for a year and a half, yet the European Commission is already considering revisions.

Brussels has launched a public consultation to assess whether the current European regulatory framework for crypto-assets remains adequate.

Earlier this year, Gregory Raymond reported that French fintechs have stable budgets and mature digital asset offerings as the sector continues to progress in France. He also discussed a tokenized deposit concept from Credit Suisse, examining how it compares with fully reserved stablecoins. Both developments have contributed to ongoing discussions about crypto regulation and innovation in Europe.
