Andrew Lokenauth highlights that gene editing has arrived and is addressing heart disease, which he describes as the world’s biggest killer.
According to Lokenauth, Eli Lilly has released data for VERVE-102, a gene therapy designed to transform treatment for high cholesterol, potentially replacing daily medication with a single intervention.
Lokenauth has previously tracked major financial developments in U.S. markets. He noted the 10-year Treasury yield rising above 4.59% and the 30-year hitting 5.12%, marking new highs for the year. In a separate report, he observed that consumer confidence in the U.S. has dropped to its lowest level in 50 years.
