Eric Lefkofsky notes growth at major U.S. oncology research event
Research efforts at the U.S. oncology conference continued to evolve as Eric Lefkofsky reported significant expansion during the tenth annual event.
The event saw the largest collection of accepted research to date and record crowds at both the industry expert theater and demonstration stations. Lefkofsky highlighted the organization's progress over the past decade, pointing to increased participation and interest. ''It is incredible to think about how much we have grown since our first,'' Lefkofsky wrote, reflecting on the scale and engagement at this year's conference.
Lefkofsky previously introduced Preview, an AI platform that delivers pathology insights to doctors within 24 hours. Earlier this year, Tempus, the company he leads, received FDA clearance for its tumor-only genomic profiling test. These developments add to the organization's ongoing efforts in oncology research and diagnostics.
