Jayendra Jog, co-founder and CEO at Sei Labs, points to a major challenge in blockchain consensus: the problem that arises if the block leader goes down.
According to Jog, many protocols attempt to address this issue without adequate solutions. He highlights Ambulance, a new protocol developed by Sei Labs and the original authors of Autobahn, as a successful approach to this unsolved blockchain problem.
Jog previously announced Sedna, a private transaction layer for Sei Network, which he claimed provides 90 percent privacy benefits with minimal overhead of 0.01 percent (Sei Network adds Sedna privacy layer). He has also observed that most fintech apps start by targeting a single market vertical before pursuing further expansion (Jayendra Jog: Fintech apps typically begin by targeting one key vertical). These remarks follow his ongoing work on blockchain protocol development.
