Francis Pouliot: Immediate action urged for Coldcard MK3 users without passphrase
Coldcard users warned on security risk

Francis Pouliot, CEO at BullBitcoin.com, urges holders of Coldcard MK3 devices without a passphrase to urgently move their funds to a safer location.

He also advises that users of other Coldcard devices lacking a passphrase should be very concerned and start planning to create a new wallet soon.

Pouliot has previously analyzed wallet safety, highlighting the custodial features of Spark wallets and the need for transparency on security tradeoffs. He also stated that the Bull team works to help people worldwide adopt Bitcoin in a sovereign way, according to a recent post on global Bitcoin support. His latest warnings about hardware wallet security follow these ongoing concerns around user protection.
