Bitcoin and crypto could draw capital from all asset classes, Jamie Coutts argues
Bitcoin, crypto may reach $20 trillion

Jamie Coutts predicts that bitcoin and the broader crypto sector could absorb capital from every major asset class.

He notes that the current market size is about $3 trillion and suggests it may grow to between $10 trillion and $20 trillion over the next 5 to 10 years, adding that this capital inflow will need to be sourced from other assets.

Coutts previously reported that over 90 percent of crypto value and activity is concentrated on five major blockchains, a decade after their emergence, according to his recent coverage. In another analysis, he highlighted that the ETH/NDX ratio had moved above 0.087 for the first time since 2022, with DeFi activity bolstered by Robinhood, as detailed here. These observations form part of Coutts' ongoing monitoring of major market metrics in the sector.
