Joe Burnett: Digital credit and Bitcoin are more bullish than 4.5% CD yields
Bitcoin seen as bullish versus CD market

Joe Burnett observed a conversation about the certificate of deposit market yielding around 4.5% while at LaGuardia Airport after attending the Bitcoin Treasuries Conference.

He contrasted the traditional CD market with the potential of digital credit and highlighted that once broader adoption occurs, the market may become even more bullish on Bitcoin.

Earlier this year, Joe Burnett highlighted the sixth U.S. bank failure in 2026 and questioned whether Basel's high-risk classification of Bitcoin contributed to persistent challenges. He also pointed out that a single $1,864 sell order could drive the BTCB2 token price to zero following its hard fork. Burnett's observations have focused on vulnerabilities in both traditional banking and digital asset markets.
