Cuy Sheffield, vice president and global head of crypto at Visa, announced a new partnership with Lloyds Banking Group to launch one of the first 7-day stablecoin settlement pilots with a major financial institution.

Sheffield highlighted the progress stablecoins have made as a settlement mechanism over the past 5 years.
