LiteFinance adjusts February trading hours for U.S. and China holidays
LiteFinance has announced a series of temporary changes to its trading schedule in February 2026, reflecting the impact of public holidays in the United States and China on global financial markets. The adjustments, which affect a wide range of commodities, indices and CFD instruments, are intended to align trading hours with underlying market closures and reduced liquidity conditions.

Presidents Day triggers early closures across US-linked assets
According to the broker, the first set of changes will take place around Presidents Day in the United States on February 16, 2026. During this period, trading in several major instruments will close earlier than usual and resume later, based on LiteFinance’s server time (GMT+2).
Precious metals including XAUUSD, XAGUSD and XAUEUR will close at 21:15 on February 16 and reopen at 01:00 on February 17. Energy products such as US crude oil and natural gas will follow the same schedule, while UK Brent crude will resume slightly later, at 03:00.
Major equity indices will also be affected. US indices such as the S&P 500 (SPX), Nasdaq (NQ) and Dow Jones (YM) will close at 20:00 and reopen at 01:00 the following day. European indices including the FTSE, DAX (FDAX), Euro Stoxx 50 (SX5E) and CAC 40 will close at 23:00 and resume trading overnight. US equity CFDs tied to the NYSE and Nasdaq will see an extended closure, reopening only at 16:30 on February 17.
Agricultural commodities including coffee, cocoa, corn, soybeans, wheat and orange juice will also experience multi-day interruptions, with most reopening between February 17 and 19, depending on the contract.
Lunar New Year impacts Asian markets
A second round of changes relates to Lunar New Year celebrations in China. Trading in the Hong Kong 50 index and HKEX CFDs will close early on February 16 at 06:00 and remain suspended until February 20. The USDKRW currency pair will also be unavailable from February 13 until February 19.
LiteFinance noted that instruments not listed in the announcement will trade as usual and advised clients to check real-time specifications in the platform’s instrument information section.
