The license will allow VT Markets (Pty) LTD – Dubai Branch to conduct regulated activities of introduction and promotion within the UAE market, according to the broker’s website.

The importance of the license

The SCA, the UAE’s federal financial regulator, is responsible for ensuring transparency, investor protection, and market integrity. Receiving approval from such an authority not only confirms compliance with strict regional standards but also strengthens trust in VT Markets among clients seeking safe and transparent trading services.

Commenting on the milestone, Ahmed Ismail Iman, Head of Compliance at VT Markets Dubai, said the achievement reflects the company’s commitment to high standards of oversight and corporate governance: “The acquisition of the SCA Category 5 license reflects our commitment to the highest standards of regulatory compliance. This achievement not only enhances our ability to operate in a secure, transparent, and compliant manner, but it also reinforces our position as a trusted financial services provider in a rapidly evolving market,” he stated.

Growth strategy and global presence

According to analysts, the approval coincides with Dubai’s growing role as an international financial hub, attracting both institutional players and retail investors. The new license will enable VT Markets to leverage this momentum and further strengthen its global reputation as a reliable provider of financial services.

The company also announced plans to seek additional regulatory approvals in other strategically important jurisdictions. This move is part of a broader strategy to expand its international footprint and provide clients worldwide with access to services that meet international compliance standards.
