Portillo opens new Schertz location with launch event and giveaways
Portillo opens in Schertz TX

Portillo has announced the official opening of its new restaurant in Schertz, Texas, scheduled for Tuesday, 6/9.

The event begins with a ribbon cutting at 10AM, followed by a celebration at 4PM featuring a live DJ, prize wheel, and complimentary food samples. The new location is situated at 18678 Interstate 35 North, Schertz, TX 78154. Attendees do not need tickets and can enjoy Portillo merchandise while supplies last.

The Schertz opening extends Portillo's recent efforts to grow its Texas presence. The company earlier launched its first airport restaurant at DFW Terminal B. Portillo's has also expanded its merchandise line with limited edition Italian Beef body pillows aimed at customer engagement.
