VIASAT INC revealed that its ViaSat-3 satellite undergoes an extensive pre-launch testing regime, including thermal vacuum cycling from minus 374 degrees Fahrenheit to 248 degrees Fahrenheit, vibration testing between 3 and 6g, and exposure to 140 decibel acoustic chambers.
These rigorous procedures are completed before the satellite makes its first launch attempt, underscoring the complexity and precision required to ensure operational success in orbit. The company pointed to these steps as critical in preparing its satellites for the challenges of space.
VIASAT INC has expanded its activities beyond satellite deployments in recent months.
