BitMEX launches faster mobile app to enhance derivatives trading
The well-known crypto trading platform BitMEX has updated its mobile trading interface, introducing an app with faster trading processes, gesture-based controls, and other features aimed at improving derivatives trading.
The new BitMEX app includes a streamlined KYC procedure, one-tap crypto purchases, and improved navigation, giving users faster access to a wide range of contracts.
The mobile update also features a lighter interface, faster trading operations, and a simplified onboarding flow for new users. BitMEX assures derivatives traders that the new app enables them to operate literally on the go.
“The redesigned BitMEX mobile app marks an important step in our mission to provide traders with faster, clearer, and more intuitive tools,” said Stephan Lutz, CEO of BitMEX, adding that they created an experience “to match the speed and precision our users demand.”
Speed means mobility—and vice versa
Traders can now use faster gesture-based controls, including “Swipe to Close,” which allows users to close positions with a single movement. The quick-trade process has also been redesigned to help users enter the market with fewer taps and greater clarity.
Additional enhancements include a simplified KYC process, one-click fiat purchases, and improved navigation across markets and account actions via gesture-based controls.In total, users can access more than 80 low-latency derivative contracts, as well as trading bots, copy-trading features, instant crypto purchases, and zero-fee crypto conversions.
The relaunch of the BitMEX mobile app marks the first step in a broader series of product upgrades the company plans to roll out in the coming months. According to Stephan Lutz, BitMEX sees mobile trading as a central pillar in the future of the derivatives market and intends to evolve in this direction.
