WalletConnect to outline infrastructure expansion at EthCC, Pedro Gomes announces
Pedro Gomes announced that WalletConnect will present its development from transaction tools for developers to payment solutions for merchants at EthCC. The presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, March 31st 2026, from 10:25 to 10:45 on the Monroe Stage at Palais des Festivals.
Gomes invited attendees not to miss the session, where WalletConnect aims to share its journey in expanding crypto infrastructure.
Gomes previously highlighted how Tempo’s payment channels reveal the need for native account abstraction on Ethereum, according to a past article. He has also noted worldwide growth in crypto payments, with WalletConnect Pay expanding digital transactions globally. These developments set the stage for WalletConnect’s new focus on merchant solutions.
