Lennar boosts home sale incentives

Lennar, ranked as the second-largest homebuilder in the U.S., increased its spending on incentives to $62,700 per average home sale in 2023.

This figure is a sharp rise from $17,300 in 2022, according to Lance Lambert. The data was shared via Residential Club.

Lennar has previously cautioned that the withdrawal of institutional homebuyers could lead to reduced new home construction, according to a report by Lance Lambert. The homebuilding sector has also seen rising international activity, including Daiwa House's Trumark Homes unit acquiring U.S. builder JK Monarch in the fourth Japanese deal in five weeks, Lambert reported.
