Stephanie Link: AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud show strong growth
Stephanie Link, managing director and portfolio manager at Hightower Advisors, highlights significant growth rates in the cloud businesses of Amazon, Microsoft, and Google. Amazon AWS reported 28% growth, Microsoft Azure achieved 40% growth, and Google Cloud saw 63% growth according to her observations in the market.
Link views these results as powerful tailwinds for semiconductor businesses, power companies, data center infrastructure, and the underlying grid. She suggests the current stage is just the '2nd inning' for these trends.
Link has previously commented on other sector earnings. She noted that Boeing's commercial airplanes revenue climbed 13 percent with defense up 21 percent. In another report, she highlighted IBM's strong EPS and $4.5 billion in AI-driven savings since 2023.
