E2open Parent Holdings, Inc. warns that trade compliance has become increasingly challenging due to data gaps across classification, origin, emissions, and supplier documentation.
The company urges businesses to begin compliance measures earlier, align their internal teams, and focus on creating decision-grade data to avoid costly disruptions. With regulatory environments tightening, even a single gap can create ripple effects throughout global supply chains.
E2open has recently flagged rising food prices as disruptions in oil and fertilizer drive up early supply chain costs, according to a previous company warning. Earlier this year, E2open also reported that cargo delays have led to a 25 percent increase in transit times and a 40 percent spike in costs, with cargo backlogs reaching 70,000 tons during a recent supply chain crunch. These ongoing disruptions add pressure to compliance efforts as companies contend with elevated risks across logistics and sourcing.
