Dubai grants VARA approval to Kraken Exchange for spot, margin, OTC and staking services
Kraken Exchange wins VARA Dubai license

Kraken Exchange has received regulatory authorization from the Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA) in Dubai.

The approval enables Kraken Exchange to offer spot, margin, OTC, staking services, and institutional access via Kraken Prime in the region. The exchange noted that AED funding options will become available later in the year. This move strengthens Kraken Exchange's footprint in the Middle East, expanding access for retail and institutional clients seeking regulated digital asset trading.

Kraken Exchange recently expanded its product offering to include 24/7 trading of tokenized equities with up to 3x leverage. Earlier this year, the company hosted a founders night at Mila during Consensus, bringing together key crypto builders and partners. These initiatives come as the firm increases its regional presence with the new approval in Dubai.
