CELH bought Alani Nu for $1.65 billion, Jonah Lupton notes — CELH buys Alani Nu for $1.65 billion

CELH purchased Alani Nu for $1.65 billion, a valuation representing roughly 1.6 times Alani Nu's last twelve months revenues. Jonah Lupton pointed out that shortly after the acquisition was announced, Alani Nu released a press statement highlighting it had surpassed $1 billion in trailing twelve month revenues.

Lupton reminded readers that the transaction occurred 13 months ago, with Alani Nu's revenue milestone reached soon after the deal.

Jonah Lupton has previously commented on other significant transactions. He reported when a CPNG board member bought $136 million in stock, calling it the largest non-founder insider purchase he has observed.
