Shay Boloor highlights that MU occupies a unique position within the artificial intelligence economy as the only American HBM (high-bandwidth memory) manufacturer with government backing.
Boloor notes that in a global environment increasingly focused on the origin of semiconductor components, MU benefits from its status as HBM becomes one of the most scarce and valuable assets in the ongoing AI infrastructure buildout, granting it significant pricing power.
In previous coverage, Boloor reported that NBIS is set to invest over $9 billion in an AI cloud project in France with a capacity of 240MW, marking one of Europe's largest deployments (full story). He has also highlighted IREN's jump above $65 after its annual recurring revenue guidance increased and the announcement of a $1.6 billion DELL deal for AI systems in Texas centers (more here). The recent developments point to significant capital flows toward AI infrastructure and related technology suppliers.
