Highlights

  • Ripple joined with Privy, part of Stripe, to equip developers with embedded wallet tools for the XRP Ledger.
  • This integration lets users transact in XRP, RLUSD, and other assets without directly managing private keys, lowering technical barriers.
  • XRP traded with short-term bearish momentum and low volatility, with a projected price range of $1.2839 to $1.3913 over the next few days.

Developer access expands as Ripple-Privy partnership targets wallet adoption

Ripple partnered with Privy, a subsidiary of Stripe, to provide developers with tools for building embedded wallets on the XRP Ledger, as reported by The Block. This integration enables users to make payments and transact in XRP, RLUSD, and other supported assets without needing to directly manage private keys, potentially removing a key adoption barrier for broader user participation. By easing the technical requirements of wallet usage, the move could incrementally expand the XRP Ledger’s developer and end-user ecosystem, though market reaction has been muted in the context of the current price consolidation.

Mixed market momentum as resistance aligns with indicator divergence

On the technical front, XRP has slipped below the MA-20 and MA-50 on the hourly chart, while still holding above the MA-200 on the daily. The immediate resistance is defined by the Ichimoku Kijun at $1.3658, with key support seen near $1.2839. Momentum indicators present a mixed picture: MACD and ADX are both neutral, RSI reads 47.82 (Sell), CCI is neutral, and Stoch RSI signals Strong Sell, suggesting pockets of weakness. Bull/Bear Power registers buyer dominance intraday, though this conflicts with the bearish signals given by RSI and Stoch RSI, indicating internal market divergence.

Downside risk rises as narrow trading range persists

Looking ahead to the next 2–3 trading days, XRP is expected to trade within a range of $1.2839 to $1.3913, based on typical volatility bands. The probability of a move higher is very low, while a downside break is more likely given current momentum readings. The base case scenario sees price stabilizing in this corridor, while a bullish breakout would require a close above the $1.3658 resistance. Conversely, a move below $1.2839 would indicate further near-term weakness.

Anton Kharitonov, analyst at Traders Union, notes that XRP remains technically weak, trading below key moving averages despite a recent integration announcement with Privy. He highlights that the partnership offers long-term ecosystem benefits by reducing wallet friction, but sees no clear near-term catalyst as price action stays below resistance at $1.3658. Kharitonov remains cautious given the conflicting indicators and lack of strong directional momentum. "Base case is for sideways price action; unless $1.3658 is reclaimed, I see no reason to chase longs."

Previously it was reported that analysts saw XRP facing persistent technical headwinds despite positive developments in its ecosystem. The current analysis underscores that, with muted market response to new partnerships and a prevailing risk of downside, a decisive move below $1.2839 would indicate heightened weakness in the near term.
