Michael Green: Most active ETFs are levered sector or single stock products
Active ETFs mainly levered or sector funds

Michael Green, chief strategist and portfolio manager at Simplify Asset Management, states that most products classified as active ETFs primarily include levered sector and single stock exchange-traded funds.

He adds that truly discretionary active ETFs are largely non-existent in the market.

Green has previously observed that the total stock of seed stage companies is declining. In an earlier article, he highlighted research suggesting that overvalued equity can threaten a company's core value. These perspectives add further context to his recent comments on the state of active ETF offerings.
